Forte Composer Academy/MIDI Study Pack #3 Seraphim + Taiga (Using Tallinn)

MIDI Study Pack #3 Seraphim + Taiga (Using Tallinn)

In this educational pack I explore 2 tracks, "Seraphim" and "Taiga", which I composed as official demos for the sample library Tallinn by Orchestral Tools.

This MIDI Study Pack provides an opportunity for the kind of detailed study one would undertake with full orchestra scores by accessing MIDI and Cubase Project files.

Inside This Pack

While most of my MIDI study packs are comprised of a single piece, this pack is different in that it contains not one, but (drumroll) TWO tracks and the following files for each (in .zip format):

    • .mid  - This is a MIDI file, which can be opened in any DAW or notation program (although opening it in a DAW like Cubase or Logic is recommended).
    • .cpr - This is a Cubase 10 Project File. If you are a Cubase user you might get more insight into the creation of this piece by using this file instead of the midi.
    • .mp3 - This is the final, mixed version of the piece for your listening reference.

Also included is a PDF readme for information on how to use these files, along with composition and orchestration insights from these piece that you can apply to your own music.
